Heavenly Father,
In the quiet moments before our duties begin, we pause to seek Your presence. We acknowledge the challenges that lie ahead in our day as nurses, recognizing the heavy responsibilities we carry on our shoulders. We are vessels of Your healing, hands and feet on earth, extending care and comfort to those in need.
Lord, grant us strength that surpasses our physical capacities. Infuse our spirits with Your divine power, so we may carry out our tasks with grace and diligence. In moments of fatigue, remind us of the strength found in You, which does not wane or falter. Help us to remember that in our weakness, Your power is made perfect.
Bless our minds with clarity, that we may make decisions with wisdom and discernment. Guide our hands to be gentle yet firm, performing each task with precision and care. May our words be a balm to the weary souls we encounter, reflecting Your love and compassion.
In the face of challenges, may we not lose heart. When we encounter suffering, help us to see it through Your eyes, finding opportunities to bring hope and light in the darkest of circumstances. Keep our spirits buoyed by the knowledge that we do not labor in vain, but serve as instruments of Your peace and healing.
As we go about our duties, clothe us with Your armor of patience and resilience. Protect our hearts from becoming hardened or indifferent, but instead, let them be filled with empathy and kindness. Renew our energy and passion for this calling, reminding us daily of the honor it is to serve others in such a tangible way.
In all things, we look to You, the source of our strength and the ultimate healer. We commit this day and all our efforts into Your loving hands, trusting that You will use us for Your glory and the well-being of those we serve.
